• AGC of SD’s Highway-Heavy-Utilities Chapter                                      Due: May 3rd

    The Associated General Contractors of South Dakota Highway-Heavy-Utilities Chapter (AGC) is committed to providing scholarships for students pursuing a career in a construction-related education program at a college/university or technical institute. The AGC also provides many other scholarships each year than what is listed below. It is AGC’s goal to provide financial assistance to all eligible applicants when possible. Eligible applicants must have a desire to pursue a highway-heavy-utilities construction career and be sponsored by an AGC member.




    Aberdeen Home Builders Association Scholarship                               Due: May 14th

    Seniors planning to enter the Building Trades field of study

    B. Davis Scholarship                                                                                Due: May 22nd

    This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution.





    Honors Graduation Scholarship                                                                Due: May 28th

    Design & work on a community improvement project. Each year we fund up to five $10,000 tuition awards, with the top project receiving up to $5,000 to keep the project going.




    PB & J Scholarship                                                                                      Due: May 31st

    This scholarship is for students who have experienced challenges in their life and who have the drive to succeed. Open to all college-bound seniors who plan on attending a two year or 4 year college in the Fall of 2020. Examples of personal challenges include, but are not limited to:

    • Medical issues
    • Peer issues: bullying, change of school, minority status, etc.
    • Family issues: divorce, death, lack of income, homelessness, foster care, abuse, etc.





    Full Circle Scholarship                                                                              Due: May 31st

    Student must be registered as an enrolled member of a federal or state recognized tribe, or a descendant of at least one grandparent or parent who is an enrolled tribal member; Must have a 2.0 or higher GPA; Must plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution.
