Parents/guardians, staff and students can make referrals for school counseling services. ​School Counselors are uniquely qualified to provide education, prevention, intervention and referral services to students and their families.

​Although school counselors do not provide long-term mental health therapy in schools, we provide a school counseling program designed to meet the developmental needs of all students. Therefore, school counselors may collaborate with other educational professionals and advocate for community service providers where long-term mental health needs are necessary to meet the individual needs of students.
