On Tuesday, our Langford Area Educators Rising students traveled to Brookings for the Educators Rising Learning Expo! 🎓💡

They spent the day connecting with future educators from across the state, learning from education professionals, and exploring opportunities in teaching and leadership. We’re so proud of these students for taking the next step toward inspiring the next generation of learners! 🍎👏

Winter Weather Reminder ❄️ Parents and guardians, it’s that time of year again when your students need all the gear! Please make sure your child comes to school with a coat, hat, and mittens each day. We’re expecting the white stuff to make an appearance by the end of the week. Even if it doesn’t stick around, we want our students to be ready for any kind of weather. It’s always our goal to get students outside for recess and fresh air whenever possible — so having the right gear helps make that happen! Thank you for helping keep our students warm and ready for fun!

We’re launching a new Peer Mentor Program for students in grades K–8!

This program connects younger students with positive role models from our Educators Rising group—high school students who are passionate about teaching and helping others succeed. Mentors will meet with their mentees during the school day (without taking time away from class) to build friendships, boost confidence, and encourage academic and personal growth. 💬✨

We can’t wait to see the positive impact this program will have on our students and school community! 💙
