Attention parents and guardians: Please remember that lunch accounts are prepay accounts, not charge accounts. We now offer online payments! Log into your Parent Portal, go to the Food Service section, and you can add money to your student’s account.

It's Winter! This is your reminder that it's important students bring all necessary winter gear to school. This includes coats, hats, gloves, boots, and snow pants—especially for recess and those riding the bus, regardless of age.

The Langford Area Junior Anatomy class and Mrs. AJ had an incredible experience today in Brookings at the SDSU cadaver lab! This hands-on learning opportunity allowed students to deepen their understanding of human anatomy in a real-world setting. A big thank you to SDSU for hosting us and providing such a valuable educational experience!
Today, students at Langford Area had a fantastic time learning about the electoral process! They engaged in interactive activities that helped them understand how elections work and the importance of their voices in shaping the future.
After gaining insights into the electoral system, students had the chance to cast their own votes in a mock election. Here are the results:

Join the Sisseton School Special Education Department for sessions presented by the South Dakota Parent Connection on Autism and Related Disorders. The sessions will be live-streamed in the Sisseton School District Multipurpose Room. All are welcome to attend.

Northwestern MS Music Festival for selected musicians is tomorrow,Tuesday, Oct 15 in Mellette.Bus will load outside the Wellness Center doors at 8:15am.

The Langford Area Marching Lions took second place "Band of Merit" in the Lake Region Marching Band Festival in Groton today. Emily Olson and Eliana Darling were also awarded "Best Drum Major!"
Parents of MS/HS Children with Special Needs: October 8th at 7pm there will be a parent group at First Lutheran Hall in Britton. They will have Transition and Vocational Rehabilitation Services staff there to present and answer questions.
